When you phone us

  • We aim to answer calls promptly. We will always give our name and will try to answer queries straight away if we can.
  • If we do not know the answer to a question, we commit to respond within two working days.

When you write to or email us

  • We aim to respond with an answer as soon as possible and will always reply within two working days.
  • If you have a complaint, you can write to info@XXXX or speak to a member of our staff.
  • Complaints will be acknowledged within two days of receipt. Once we have received full details of your complaint, we will do everything we can to respond fully to your issue within fourteen days.
  • We will make sure our email in‐boxes are checked regularly during the working day.

Processing of Cambridge English Entries and Results

  • Candidates will receive confirmation of Cambridge English exam entries at least five working days before the exam (unless it is a late entry).
  • Certificates for Cambridge English exams will be dispatched, no more than five working days after we receive them from Cambridge Assessment English.

How to Register

  • Click on the icon below for the specific exam you want to book. You will be brought directly to the booking form.
  • Please have a scan or photo of your Passport (or Kenyan National ID card) ready for uploading.
  • Please complete the booking form in full and accurately as incorrect details could adversely affect your application.
  • Upon receipt and acknowledgement of your registration you will be invited to pay via Mpesa following the steps given.

First select the Cambridge English exam you want to take.

To find out what level you have, you can take a Cambridge Placement Test. If you already know which exam you want or need to take, go to the registration page and select the exam you want to take and the date.

Register

You can register online.

There is a deadline to register for each exam session. You may still be able to register for exams after this date, but you will have to pay a penalty fee. You can find more information about late registration penalty fees from the terms and conditions document. 

Submit your registration

After fill in the form, you will be required to submit the following documents via email at info@xxxxxxx.co.ke. In order to minimise delays you must include your Registration Reference Number in all communications.

  • A scanned copy of your identification document that you registered with (Passport or Kenyan ID). The document must be valid.
  • For candidates under 18 years, please attach a clear copy of Parent/Guardian’s ID document (Passport/Kenyan ID).

Please note you will not be allowed to attend an exam if you have paid but have not completed the application and submitted this along with all required documents to our Exam Centre. All documents must be received before the registration deadline.

Once you have completed the registration process, you will receive a confirmation email for our customer service.

If you have submitted your registration and haven’t received a confirmation message after two working days, please contact us at info@xxx.or.ke or call us on +254 xxxxxxx.

Pay for your exam

Fees for each exam is listed on the registration system.

Your application will not be processed until you have paid for your exam in full.

Payment in full must be received before the registration deadline of the exam you selected.

There are two ways you can pay:

1. Pay via Mpesa

Below are the steps to follow to proceed with the payment:

– Safaricom Mpesa / paybill

– Enter business number:  933 226 

– Enter account number = last name & first name of the candidate

– Enter amount

– Enter your pin

2. Pay by cash deposit at the bank

All cash deposit payments should be made at any NCBA Bank branch.

Follow the instructions below to complete the deposit slip:

  • Ensure that your full candidate name is clearly indicated. Your name must match the document (passport / Kenyan ID) that you used to register with.
  • Indicate your Registration Reference Number.
  • Send a scanned copy of your payment slip to at info@xxxxxxx.co.ke . The subject of your email must include your Registration Reference Number.

Receive your confirmation of entry

Once you have successfully registered and completed the payment process, you will receive via email your confirmation of entry approximately 7 days before the exam.

Each candidate will also receive a reminder email 48 hours before the exam.

Request a school exam entry form

Organization and School Access

Please use your email address and password to log in to your organization’s or school’s portal.

Organization User Registration

After submitting your registration, it will take some time to activate your account. You will get an email as soon as the activation process is done.

Complete the entry form

Download and print the exam registration form for your school candidates.

To complete the form, you will need to make sure that you have a photocopy of each candidate’s passport or Kenyan National ID. Make sure the document must be valid upon registration.

Please ensure that you do not exceed your school’s agreed quota of students for examination.

Make your payment

Schools and Language Institutions must pay any invoices received before the end of each registration period.

Submit your school’s application

Once you have completed the entry form spreadsheet and made the payment you are ready to submit your school’s application.

You will need to send the below documents to us via email and via courier.

Your email should include:

  • Your completed entry form spreadsheet for all candidates
  • A scanned copy of each candidate’s ID
  • A scanned copy of your bank deposit slip

 

Reminder:  the subject title of your email should be your Preparation Centre Exam or your Reference number.

Your registration is now complete!

Confirmation of entries

You have now successfully registered your candidates for a Cambridge exam.

You will receive your candidates’ Confirmation of Entry approximately 10 days before their exams.

If you need to make changes to your submitted entries, please contact us to discuss any amendments.

Important Info

EXAM DAY TIPS: SPEAKING TEST

Here are some tips so you know what to expect on the day of your Speaking test.

Check the date, time and address of your exam.

This information will be sent to you and will also be on your confirmation of entry.

If you have any questions, contact your centre before the day of the test.

Remember to check how long it will take you to travel to the venue. Get to the venue early.

Follow the directions to find the waiting area or go to reception and ask for directions.

What to bring to the test

Bring your ID (passport or for Kenyan citizens your national identity card) and your confirmation of entry. It must be the original document with your photo and it must be valid on the day of your exam.

Do not bring food or drinks in the exam room. Only water in a clear plastic water bottle will be accepted.

Turn off your mobile phone/electronic items when you arrive at the venue.

Our centre staff will take your photo on the test day for B2 First, C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency exams. They will also will note your passport or ID number in our systems.

These steps are very important and mandatory if you want to use your result for immigration or higher education purposes in the future. If your photo is not taken on the test day you will not receive your exam result.

Our exam supervisor will:

  • check your ID and your confirmation of entry
  • give you your mark sheet (please do not fold it)
  • tell you where to wait
  • take you to the test room.

Follow the instructions and wait quietly for your test.

Your supervisor will tell you where to put your bag during the test.

If you have any questions or problems, tell the supervisor immediately.

Please leave the room quietly.

You must not speak to other candidates waiting to do their test.

EXAM DAY TIPS: PAPER-BASED EXAMS

Here are some tips so you know what to expect on the day of your Speaking test.

(Not including Pre A1 Starters, A1 Movers and A2 Flyers)

  • Register for the Online Results Service using your Candidate ID and Candidate Reference Number from your Confirmation of Entry.
  • Check the date, time and address of your exam venue indicated on your confirmation of entry.
  • Find out how to get to the venue and ensure you arrive before the start time of the exam.
  • Please check with our Covid-19 guidelines and the measures we have put in place for you to take your exam.
  • You cannot bring your mobile phone/ electronic items/wearable technology or any watches inside the exam room. Your centre will tell you where you can store your electronic items securely.
  • If you have any questions, contact your centre before the exam day.
  • Tell your centre at the point of registration if you need a photo to use your exam result for immigration or higher education purposes.
  • Bring your identification (ID), for example a passport or national ID card (for Kenyan citizens only). It must be the original document with your photo and it must be valid on the day of your exam.
  • Do not bring food or drinks to your desk in the exam room (except for water in a clear plastic bottle).
  • You cannot have your personal belongings at your desk or keep your mobile phone/ electronic items/watch inside the exam room. Our staff will tell you where you can store your electronic items securely.
  • The centre will provide pens/ pencils/erasers for the exam.
  • Follow the directions to the exam room or ask at reception.
  • Our staff will tell you where to put your personal belongings and mobile phones/electronic items and all watches. You are not allowed to access these including during breaks until after the last written component has ended. There will be a clock or timer in the exam room.
  • Our staff will take your photo on the test day for B2 First, C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency exams and will note your passport or ID number in our systems. These steps are very important if you want to use your result for immigration or higher education purposes in future.
  • Listen carefully to the instructions which the invigilator will read out and make sure you follow the instructions on your paper.
  • If you have any questions, need help or want to leave the room, raise your hand to ask for help.
  • Do not cheat or you may not receive your result.
  • For your Listening test, raise your hand immediately if you cannot hear the recording.
  • Stop writing immediately when the invigilator tells you.
  • Give all papers to the invigilator, including question papers, answer sheets, notes, etc.
  • Stay in your seat until the invigilator tells you to leave the room.
  • If you have any questions or problems, tell the invigilator immediately.
  • Remember you will not be able to access your mobile phone/electronic items/wearable technology or any watches during the breaks.
