  • English native speaker
  • Pedagogical background / experience
  • Bachelor or Masters degree in education
  • Possession of a CELTA, DELTA, TEFL or equivalent – highly appreciated
  • Knowledge of CEFR levels
  • Knowledge and experience with Cambridge English Language Assessment preparation
  • Experience with students of all levels from true beginners to native speakers
  • Professional and communicative attitude
Speaking Examiners

A Speaking Examiner (SE) has a key role in assessing a candidate’s English language ability. The mark for speaking skills ordinarily constitutes at least 20% of the overall score of a candidate. Accurate, standardised assessments contribute to the validity of the results.
